This piece is composed of 8mm, smooth polished, shiny Black Onyx, floral patterned enameled Cloisonné with gold accents. Composed in sections of three, the floral Cloisonné bead is flanked by two Black Onyx stones, each set of three separated by gold plated heishi beads, to highlight the gold in the Cloisonné pieces.
Cloisonné is a French technique used to decorate metal objects, where the colored matter is separated by gold wire. Historically, the colored matter would have consisted of inlays of gemstones or glass, but enamel became popular due to the ease of use and smaller price tag.
Black Onyx is a protective stone, known for shielding against negative thought patterns and destructive habits. It calms fear and anxiety, helps boost confidence and improves stamina and endurance. Because of these attributes, it is a prosperity stone and aids with decision making. Onyx is associated with the Root Chakra, Gemini and Leo zodiac signs, and is an Earth element.

Custom and personalized orders
I would love to create something special just for you or for your loved one.
If it's as simple as modifying the size of an existing piece in my shop, shipping times shouldn't change. Please add a note to your order letting me know the size you need.
However, if its an entirely new and unique design, more time will be required:
- We will need to discuss your ideas
- I will create a digital mockup for us to finalize the details
- I will have to order materials (making me dependent on my vendors turn around times)
- Then I will need some time to create the piece
- Once complete, I will photograph the piece and post it as a reserved listing for you.
Sizing details
The best way to discover your bracelet size is to use the string method:
Take a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist.
*It should be able to move a little and not be too snug.
Mark the string at the comfortable length.
Take the string and lay it on a ruler to measure where your mark fell.
Let me know the size down to the eighth of an inch.
*For example, I prefer the fit of 7-1/4" - It allows me to layer a bracelet and a watch and to roll it up my arm a little when I wash my hands.
