This piece is composed of 4mm, smooth polished, Silver Sheen Obsidian with a dainty silver Raven Charm, with four shiny silver heishi beads separating the first 8 stones in ripples outward from the charm.
Obsidian is volcanic glass, formed by the rapid cooling of liquid lava. There are several fascinating variations, each with their own unique healing properties. Silver Sheen Obsidian is a naturally occurring variant, that’s shimmer is caused by tiny gas bubbles and teeny inclusions caught in the process. It’s known as a stone of inward reflection and truth, protects from negative energies, and strongly enhances meditation. It is associated with the Root Chakra, Sagittarius zodiac sign, the Moon, and is an Earth element.
The Raven, for me, has become a symbol of change to come; neither good, nor bad, just change to come. In researching them, I discovered that, spiritually, people either view them as symbols of death or bad luck, or “rebirth and starting anew” in a positive perspective. Whichever way you see them, Ravens are highly intelligent creatures often confused with crows. Crows and Ravens are very similar, both jet black, with a bluish purple reflection in their wings, but Ravens are larger, have a more pronounced and curved bill, and a more scalloped tail shape than Crows. Fun fact, a group of Ravens is called a conspiracy.
I composed this piece as a talisman for periods of change, a time to reflect on what’s important to you, what you really want to do, and as something to wear to remind you of that reflection, so it can be held close and help keep you focused.

Custom and personalized orders
I would love to create something special just for you or for your loved one.
If it's as simple as modifying the size of an existing piece in my shop, shipping times shouldn't change. Please add a note to your order letting me know the size you need.
However, if its an entirely new and unique design, more time will be required:
- We will need to discuss your ideas
- I will create a digital mockup for us to finalize the details
- I will have to order materials (making me dependent on my vendors turn around times)
- Then I will need some time to create the piece
- Once complete, I will photograph the piece and post it as a reserved listing for you.
Sizing details
The best way to discover your bracelet size is to use the string method:
Take a piece of string and wrap it around your wrist.
*It should be able to move a little and not be too snug.
Mark the string at the comfortable length.
Take the string and lay it on a ruler to measure where your mark fell.
Let me know the size down to the eighth of an inch.
*For example, I prefer the fit of 7-1/4" - It allows me to layer a bracelet and a watch and to roll it up my arm a little when I wash my hands.
